As I said on the cbox, I was recently contacted by My Chemical Romance’s online…PR dude, I guess. His name is Jeff Watson and you’ll probably recognize him from the official site. In a special little gift for you guys, Jeff has set it up so that on Thursday from 12:01 AM (February 19) to Friday at 12:01 AM pacific time, Mikey Way Online visitors can receive a 10% discount at the My Chemical Romance online store on all non-music items by entering the code “MIKEYWAY” in the coupon box during checkout.
Surprise!

Kerrang! has an interview with Gerard where he speaks out about fatherhood. The site only gives a short blurb of what is in the interview but has the entire thing in the magazine.
Gigwise has a short article on MCR beginning recording. [please note that although it says that they begin recording this week, that the article was written on the third of February.]
I probably would have more stuff for you to read if I weren’t so ADD today, so this is all I could really find.
My apologies.

I am still sick and still miserable. Gerard brightened by day (er, night) by confirming the start of the new record. Thanks to Nate for the heads up. I am off to muddle my way through lab. I am out of tissues. Maybe Gerard will make my day (er, night) again and send me tissues…
Every single time we start a new record it rains in LA. | My Chemical Romance.
I’m weezing along here…I’m definitely sick now
. Forgive me if this post doesn’t make any sense or if I’m totally wrong here.
I was sitting here in lab (where I currently am) fiddling around with an Amazon.com widget that would display all of My Chemical Romance’s releases in a little slideshow in the sidebar (probably won’t use it, but who knows?) and there was a second listing for Bullets. So, yeah, I clicked, because I was curious.
It’s the vinyl release for Bullets! As far as I was concerned, the vinyl was still sold out on Eyeball Records for some time now, however, it is now showing up on Amazon.com as being released yesterday. I’m assuming it’s the vinyl. It says it’s LP and has a blurb in the description about the vinyl. It’s being sold by independent retailers as well as directly from Amazon.com.

How are you? How have you been? Have you missed me?
Anyway, now to bombard you with lots of links to click.
If for some reason you have yet to see the video for Desolation Row, head on over to My Chem’s site because they have it embedded there. =P
BBC has a pretty good article about My Chemical Romance and their decision to cover Desolation Row and about Gerard’s opinion towards Watchmen in general. It’s interesting. Check it out.
BBC also has another article in which Gerard says that although they don’t know what direction they are taking their next cd, that he feels they have to change.
Gerard guest hosted on G4’s Fresh Ink Online. Clicking that link will take you to Dark Horse’s website to view the video. [I felt the need to add that last part for reasons unknown to me.]
For those of you who like The Umbrella Academy, Comic Book Resources has another positive review for the latest installment of the series.
Speaking of comics, here is a sneak peek for Dallas #4.
