Thank you to Z for posting this in the C-Box, I don’t think I’ve smiled this big since I found out Lindsey was pregnant in the first place!

A few of you have already looked at it, but, in case you haven’t, here it is for your wonderful viewing pleasure! Oh, and um…Hello to you all, yes, I am able to post now, so hopefully I’ll do a good job!(:
According to Brandy Way (and Morgan, with info from Brandi My Chemical Freak) there is going to be a Rock Band: My Chemical Romance in the works. (source)
I don’t have Rock Band, so…um…Guitar Hero next, please?
But, keep in mind, this article on the source link was posted on April 1st, so the chances of it being entirely fake is pretty high. However, it would be rather fun if it were actually made.
Chris Anthony had Gerard as a model in his latest project “Venice” which has been on view since yesterday at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles. According to State of the Art Gerard’s fellow models for the project included Emily Deschanel, star of FOX TV’s “Bones,” actress Jacinda Barrett, and artist Mercedes Helnwein. Juxtapoz also mentions that Lindsey was featured in photographs as well and that Anthony has worked for My Chemical Romance before on The Black Parade.
Unfortunately I could not find any “Venice” photos of Gerard or Lindsey and I’m not sure of the copyrights for Chris Anthony’s work. I did look at Anthony’s website though and I recommend taking some time to check out his work.
Edit: Thank you to everyone who helped locate photos of Gerard on Anthony’s site as well as The Black Parade photos. I appreciate the help and if you find anymore information on Gerard and the “Venice” photo shoot please let us know.
The Black Parade photos are under the tabs “Commercial” and “Portraits”. There’s also a photo of Gerard under “New Work”.
If you read the State of the Art article though it says,
The models, bogged down with gear and props and heavy costumes, may have had it worse. “They were forced to be still while being spanked by waves,” says Anthony
I was looking for the ocean photos. I’m not certain if these are all of the “Venice” photos (I think they are though), but if you go to the “Current Show” section of Corey Helford Gallery’s website it shows the “Venice” photos.
LA Weekly posted a blog where Anthony Chris talks more about “Venice”.
Edit: Thank you so much to Karen! I’m now able to put up a link to the “Venice” photo of Gerard and Lindsey!
Remember the dude that found the Motts video? He strikes again, this time with a post from a gaming blog. Thanks Adam!
Legendary Japanese rocker Kyosuke Himuro, member of seminal band Boøwy, has teamed up with Gerard Way for the final song in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. The song was written by Gerard Way and performed by Himuro (however, Tiffa and I both here a little bit of him singing in the “whoa” parts in the end). Since Himuro is such a nice guy (or it could be the difference in culture), the song, “Safe and Sound“, with a trailer has already been put up on Himuro’s official website, so you can go check it out. Just make sure you click on “Trailer” in the navigation and click on “Safe and Sound” to load the video. Adam also said there’s no United States release date for the movie, yet, so hang tight and he’ll keep me updated if anything else comes in.
NME posted an interview of Gerard with Collider where he informs Collider who the screenwriter for The Umbrella Academy movie is going to be.
Now, speaking to Collider, Way has revealed the man who is set to pen the script: He said: “There’s a screenwriter, a great screenwriter named Mark Bomback – and he is the guy we’d love to do it.”
Gerard also talks about “Desolation Row”, Watchmen, and the Umbrella Academy movie and you can see Mikey and Frank with him.
Revolutions in Sound focuses on Warner Brother’s most legendary artists of the past 50 years. My Chemical Romance stands alongside Green Day, Tom Petty, Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Madonna, and Eric Clapton, among many, many others. Not a bad place to be featured at all. Congratulations to My Chemical Romance! The song chosen for the feature is Welcome to the Black Parade. View the full tracklisting for Revolutions in Sound.
Thanks to Heather for the info!
