I love Frank. I really do. I do have to agree with Kathleen that it is a little annoying to lowercase that ‘e’ haha. Takes some extra concentration while I’m, you know, not paying attention in class.

Anyways, I’ll get those scans…soon…from AMP magazine. It was a pretty good interview so I hope my scanner feels up to it.

Leathermouth beans: Album is titled XO and will be released on January 27, 2009. Rob Hughes is the only other official member of the band.

Tired of the misdirected blame in school shootings, overmedicating kids and nefarious politicians among other things, Iero viciously explodes with pent up frustration on XO, spewing his aggression out in a rapid fire succession. XO is a call to action with thick speeding rock riffs inciting listeners with brutal hostility, inculcating a sense of urgency with the controversial track “Catch Me If you Can,” which likens the NYPD to Jack the Ripper, “Sunsets Are For Muggings,” about being robbed of your childhood by drugs and therapy and “5th Period Massacre,” which points the finger at bullying students as the cause a school shooting.

“I would say this record is about trying to wake people up to what is happening right in front of their eyes,” Iero continues. “We are all trying our hardest to pretend bad things don’t happen to good people, and that there is some higher power looking over us…but it’s bullshit. Stop covering your children’s eyes. Everything is fucked, and pretending it’s not isn’t making things any better. I’m tired of people praying for a change when it’s up to them to get off their asses and make a change.”

My Chemical Romance beans: they’re not really writing officially yet. It’s still more hang out and jam sessions in pairs and such right now, however they will start buckling down at the start of next year getting the whole band together for some serious writing. And for those of you who were worried in regards to Gerard and Lindsey’s baby news…

We were very happy to hear that Gerard and Lyn-Z are expecting their first child; is that going to affect MCR’s plans much?
No. You know if anything, it’s just going to make the family bigger and we’re just really excited. As soon as he told me my jaw dropped, because he was the kind of kid that was like, ‘I’m never going to get married, I’m never going to have kids’, and it was in a year that all that changed. I’m just so excited for him, because he’s so excited, and if anything, it’s just going to make touring that much better – everyone’s gonna have kids out on the road and their wives and stuff, it’s just going to be like a touring family circus.
