Firstly, yes, there’s a new layout. Yay! Hope you guys like the new look. Kathleen’s been staring at this one for awhile and it’s had its issues. If you see anything wrong, feel free to email me or comment here on this post.

Secondly, there’s a new forum. I had a moment and linked the thing up there in the navigation without actually putting the boards in it so Haleigh’s doing that right now. The user titles (for how many posts you have) were done by Kathleen. There is only a slew of default themes for the forum right now because I’m much too of a newbie to SMF to be able to make one right now (not to mention pressed for time). Something you should note about the forum is that your login for the old forum will not work. That’s because it’s completely integrated here at MWO. That means that if you login to post a comment, that login is now your username at the new forum. That way you don’t have to have two logins.

Thirdly, I’ve blocked comments on the gallery. Kathleen deleted 5000+ spam comments last night (or the night before, I can’t remember, I think it was last night) and it’s just a drag. Eventually that’s going to become part of MWO as well, and the same login will work there (as in…not yet). That will also be moving to a default theme for the time being because the theme I attempted just isn’t working (at least in the admin panel). I’m also going to do some testing to see if I can add the videos and MP3s there, or do something to better get the videos, mp3s, avatars, graphics, and other multimedia organized, or something along those lines.

Fourthly (?), ads are going to start appearing on the site across the very top. You may notice the little scrolling thingy on the side and the button, and those are there as a requirement of my ad server. The cool thing is that scrolling thingy is actually music headlines from other blogs, and our posts are going to show up in there on other sites, so it’s kind of like a link exchange but not directly. Pretty cool. And, no, none of the ads are pop-ups. The ads at the top should come up within 48 hours.

Anyways, onto something related to my Chemical Romance.

Brandi posted this over at My Chemical Freak. Achelle from E.L.F. met up with Frank Iero, Gerard Way, and Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance at, of all places, Urban Outfitters in New York City. They liked her feather headband.
