You kids and your photos. I don’t know what amuses me more: Gerard’s hair or how much the site’s daily hits have gone up. These past three days we’ve done 800+ hits per day. Crazy, I tell you. Here’s some more random photos I came across of the hair, and one’s even got Lindsey in it. If anybody has the original source for any of these photos I’m posting without a credit, let me know so I can credit the people in the photos or whoever was behind the camera. Two of these were from My Chemical Freak.
Rockerz Paradise has named Ray Toro it’s ‘Shredder of the Week’.
The article is pretty much everything we know already, the guitar he plays, his influences, the awesome dog ‘Bauer’, but it’s a nice reminder of his amazingness!
Gigwise.com has a new ‘Top 50′ list, this time it’s ‘When Gigs Go Wrong: 50 Disastrous Live Shows’. They’ve listed My Chem as number 10, for Download Festival, June 2007.
Something good did come out of this article though, a rather entertaining quote of Gerard’s has resurfaced:
“This song is called ‘thanks for all the bottles, thanks for all the piss, thanks for all the golf balls, thanks for all the apples and thanks for all the sticky shit’”.
The Cure’s remix album is titled ‘Hypnagogic States’, if everyone remembers correctly, this album will include a remix by Gerard. Also joining him on the album is Jared Leto of 30 Seconds to Mars, Jade Pudget of AFI, and Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump. The album, 4:13 Dream, is due out sometime in October.
A few mentions of TUA and it’s upcoming sequel.
Geeky Librarian say that Gerard’s take on ’superhero comics (or is that dysfunctional family stories)’ is ‘easily the most enjoyable comic last year’.
Good Comics gives us a little tidbit about the next TUA series. [Out November 26].

A review of the Nevada Leathermouth show on Friday has surfaced. It’s not very complimentary of them, apparently Frank ripped his glasses apart with his teeth…? Tbh, I say right on to that. However, the review does seem to end on a good, albeit painful note.
Just a little tidbit, Junk Online has a small article covering Gerard’s new hair, along with a coolzies timeline of pictures following his many hair colors in the past.

Sorry about not getting the new gallery up. I’m about to beat the thing up with a bat. No matter what I do, it’s not working, so sorry to those of you who are waiting for the media site, too. It’s not cooperating, either, but I’m working on it, I swear 
There’s a new layout coming! Totally brand new look for the site. I’m hoping to get it up very, very soon.
So thanks to Jess (and Tempest O’Mouthy), we now have a very, very nice picture of Gerard’s pink (or, actually, red) hair. It’s very “The Little Mermaid” red, I think. The lighting in the other photo made it look more pink, but it’s definitely red. Again, I’m very amused. And it’s definitely his hair.

Hello everyone!
As Johnnie mentioned, I’m Haleigh, and I will be helping her out from now on. [God knows she needs it XP <3 ].
I just want to let everyone know that Johnnie is amazing, and I completely don’t mind her motheringness, in fact, I’m very grateful for her presence in my life.
Of course you already all know how awesome she is, and I’m hoping that in her honor, you will go here and you know, make use of it!
I hope I make everyone in the fandom proud, and as my first act of, uh, postingness, I figured I’d attempt to win you all over with…..
Kathleen wanted you all to know what a terrible person she is but I refuse to let anyone believe any such thing. She has decided to step down as cowebmaster of Mikey Way Online due to pursuing interests outside of the interwebz (you know, college and real-life friends and all that jazz). No worries, she’s still my baby sis and I’d still give her the world regardless of her position on this website, so nothing has gone on between us. She’ll still be subject to every prototype layout I’ll ever make for this site and continue to edit my typos out of the news posts and site pages so her presence will still be here and there and in all the little nooks and crannies.
Kathleen has one request: Please post all discussions on the entries here instead of on the tagboard because she doesn’t want to have to sift through it all to see what bad things you are saying about her resignation. Haha.
Oh, and sis, just because I’m not revoking your admin privileges doesn’t mean you need to come edit this post to declare what a terrible person you are, because you’re not!
Of course, to get things back up to speed, I’ve enlisted some help from Haleigh. She first came into the site on the tagboard and was the second person to join the forum after Kathleen and I. She remembers the site in its infancy and the terrible things that went on (seriously, what was I thinking with that lime-green layout?!). She’s my adopted MCR kid and I treat her as such and it amuses me how much she puts up with my mothering of her even if it’s only through gmail. She’s also got some experience in cleaning up after me and did pretty much most of the lyrics section by herself.
Everyone say hello to Haleigh!
And, much to my amusement, due to the post about Gerard’s pink hair, this site has completely doubled, and almost tripled, the average daily visitor count. Nice. The debate continues in that post and on the tagboard. Just remember to keep it nice. I opened up a debate as to whether the photo was real or photoshopped, not to whether you like it or not.
Because of my trip to Atlanta, I’m way behind on my news sources. What a fantastic way to show Haleigh how to help on the site, right? It’s tough love, dear.
All that being said, Kathleen is a horrible person and I’m glad that she finally stepped down from helping out on the site. She wasn’t really doing anything around here anyway. I mean, when was the last time she updated the news?

OKAY GUYS. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. GERARD’S HAIR IS NOW BLACK NOW. It was in fact real. He has said so himself. And it was PINK not RED. I’m so tired of the comments of people saying how ugly it is and being so disrespectful. An opinion is one thing, but being rude and disrespectful is something else. And, for the love of MCR, it hasn’t been pink for awhile.
