Oh wow! O.O LOL Gee with pink hair? It looks obviously fake but it might just seem that way because its really bizarre to me. I love pink hair but Gee just couldn’t pull it off, no offense.

I have no idea! I can’t decide. I want to say it’s real because that’d be wicked cool, but if it’s photoshopped, I’m 1) going to be disappointed and 2) going to praise whomever did such an amazing job with the photoshop. dudddddddde.

OMFG. please tell me if this is fake or not, i still love him to death with whatever hair color he has and i dont really care what color his hair is but i just want to know if its fake or not pleaaaaaaaaase tell me!!

A) That looks red, not pink.
And It looks real, but It’s probably a photoshop.
Either way, it’s cool. If it’s real then that’s awesome!
If it’s not, then he should get red hair!

Sorry it does look pink to me. The lighting was very dark so it probably looks more red because of it, but I’m thinking it’s a very dark pink.
I thought it might be a wig, also! Looking at the highlights, it’s almost too shiny to be real like a wig or a photoshop.
Ugh! I wish i knew! But I actually really, really like it

Dunno, but I saw wigs in England today in a shop, so… guess that’s a new trend! And yeah, Gee is perhaps a bit a fashion victim^^
But my first thought was: great! Really, I think it’s really cool!
A bit color on the dark way’s head!^^
But, well, on the other side… It doesn’t fit with the look of MCR… okay, they’re having a break, so… it’s okay, MR. Way!^^

It’s definately pretty rad, rather it’s real or not. I love it, and it brings out his facial features a lot more; especially the nose area. Because of his sharp features, and now the hair, he looks like an anime character.

My friends keep debating on rather or not this picture is fake. Most of them think it’s fake. I kinda hope not!! XD God I have to admit. I’m in love with it. hehe.

and to be honest with you, I can’t see why anyone would spend so long on photoshop just to change Gee’s hair colour and make it look so convincing………

Yep, It’s definatley real!
I talked to the nice girl on the left, she was trying to look for him that night because he was leaving early and not going to the conferance..
She didn’t think it was him until she actully saw his face, apparently the colour is like blood red.
She noted that he real seemed happy and un-ashamed of it too.

I’ve seen way too many reports of people who were at Dragoncon and noticed his hair to think this wasn’t real

I don’t think it’s real, it wold be in the media and things. ;P
And this hair is damn red, poppy red! I’ve got the same colour in my hair. xD
But I think it looks much better when he has black hiar. *-*

Wow, I dont know what to say… he screws with his hair color as much as I do (Mine has blue in it now, need to take some new pics)
It looks like its a bit damaged, he probably lightened it in order to show the color (red dye on top of black doesn’t show, trust me I know)
I hope it looks better in person, because in this pic it kinda looks like ronald mcdonald hair. LOL
But if it is the blood red color the poster said it was, it would look better, prob bad lighting or serious overflash.
I miss’m and all the guys, I dont care if they have rainbow hair really… haircolor is fun to mess with, you can always color over it and folks Red is the hardest color to keep in, so Im sure he will get tired of maintaining it and switch to another hue, thats why I stopped doing my red… I love it, but it is just to hard to keep up on… within a wash or two it is a ugly orangy color. BLAH

I was also wondering about the flash, Raven. The highlights look really bizarre in his hair in this pic. Tiffa and I had been talking and thought we figured out what color it was, and he must’ve have bleached it out all the way for it to be so dark, but then the second picture came out and it’s REALLY red. I have mine a darker purple/brown right now and the red in it has faded really fast even though it was purple/brown so I totally know what you mean.

Maybe it only temporarly* like that,maybe the wash out kind,because in the other picture i seen of him the other 2 people he was with had like costumes on. Search on photobucket( gerard way red hair)
and it should show up. And he said hes gunna stop messing with it so people will quit asking questions…anywho i STILL LOVE HIM, BLACK,RED,PINK,BLUE,GREEN,BOLD.LOL

It’s okay when it’s black and another colour but you just can’t trust him with hairdye anymore. NOO GEE!!

I think it might be real. Think about it, when they released The Black Parade, Gerard died his hair blonde to look more like The Patient, so who’s to say, this isn’t a step forward to another album, to be more theatrical about it?
Personnaly, i think its awesome. Gerard has never been one to care about what other people think about him, he makes bold statements that make people want to live. So, what does it matter what color hair he has got?

I think he probably just dyed it temporarily. It will probably rinse out.

I’m almost positive that thats only color hair spray. ^.^ Because I went to a convention last month and sprayed my hair red and got a similar effect. And actually, my hair was in the same style as his is in that picture…. Creepy. If he dyed it though that’d be totally awesome. Even though my mom has the same color hair as he does in that picture.
