Here’s a random video to keep you guys entertained. It’s the song “Helena” to a fan-made SIMS movie. It stars Gerard and, as a caution, has graphic scenes of abuse and death, so don’t watch it if stuff like that bothers you. It’s a very well-done video, and the person who did it created a lot of the stuff in it.

Sorry for the downtime today. My host says everything’s getting back up for the most part but some stuff is lagging.

Basically what happened is this piece of equipment thing at my host that puts the websites on the internet broke down or failed or something, so that’s why at least I was getting an error about how the site was seemingly valid, the browser just couldn’t connect to it. Nothing’s been lost!

Anyways, onto two little bits I received thanks to April…

We want the series to last a while. It would’ve been jumping way too far ahead in the larger story, and I’m not the type of person (and neither is Scott) to hold on to ideas – one of the best pieces of advice Grant Morrison have me was to not hold on to ideas, to just use them all, paint yourself into a corner, and come up with new ideas – and I’ve definitely held on to that way of thinking, but the original story that we were thinking of telling in this second series will now be series four, which is more or less the midpoint of the entire story as a whole. So it needed to wait.

There’s still a bit here and there floating around about the comic Mikey’s doing. This is nothing we don’t already know, but as a refresher, Mikey Way has been picked up by DC Comics to do an 8-page short for Halloween, supposedly about Batman, but nothing’s confirmed.

Since there’s such a lack of news, Haleigh and I will find other ways to entertain you. Granted, you may have already seen this, but it’s always worth a second (or third, or fourth, or fifth) look

Happy birthday, Adam Lazzara!

For anyone living under a rock, Adam is the frontman for Taking Back Sunday. Taking Back Sunday is very good friends with My Chemical Romance. They are a fantastic band and you should check them out if you haven’t already. <3

You might remember Adam from a show in Florida where Gerard lost his voice and Taking Back Sunday decided they were going to get My Chemical Romance on stage for one song, “I’m Not Okay”, and Adam would sing it. Adam did a great job, however Gerard’s vocals are so high and intense that Adam definitely wasn’t going to be doing it again.

This isn’t really My Chemical Romance-related, but…

Rock drummer Travis Barker (formerly Blink-182, currently +44) and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein were in a near-fatal airplane crash last night in Columbia, South Carolina. Four people were killed, and were identified as “pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad; Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City; and Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles.” All four were from California.

Our hearts go out to their families, friends, and fans.

According to NME, The Cure feels that Itunes ripped off the UK fans by overcharging for their EP ‘Hypnagogic States’. So, they are asking that you please boycott purchasing over Itunes.
Here’s an alternative option.

MCRmy Mexico has been up to some awesome stuff lately!
The Cineteca National hosted ‘Rock In The Cinema’ and they showed The Black Parade Is Dead!

They also had a celebration for Mikey’s birthday on September 6th.

I’d just like to make a quick post about how I’m not being a very good co-webbie right now

Recently, my parents installed a new parental blockers, that blocks pretty much everything PG-13.
This includes mikeywayonline.net
Right now, I’m at school, I can access the news here, however, I’m not allowed to do ‘fun stuff’ til I’m done with my work [which is rare ].

I believe that Johnnie is keeping my status, as webmaster, but I’d like to apologise for not being around much, and hopefully, my parents will crack soon as uninstall that crap.
